Holt Heath Fire - National Trust Meeting 8th December 2025

Thank you to all that attended the Meeting on the 20th of November.

As discussed at the meeting we have appointed a Wildfire expert to review our current approaches to management regarding wildfires on the heath. As part of this process, we would like to gain information from as many stakeholders as possible so we can factor concerns into this review.

We are putting on another meeting on December 8th details below: At the the last meeting we suggested that this meeting would be mainly for people sharing a boundary with the heath but on reflection we would like to open it up to anyone that has a concern about specific areas of the heath relating to the control of wildfires.

Location: Holt Village Hall, Hart's Ln, Holt, Wimborne BH21 7DJ

Time: 6:30pm – 8:30pm

There will be no presentations at this meeting as we would like it to be a chance to get into the details of the site, so we can map concerns so they can be considered in the wildfire management review.
